"Probably not a bad plan," she agrees, finishing up her apple and suddenly finding herself famished for more. She goes over to the fridge and pulls out a bottle of milk, sniffing to make sure it isn't spoiled. Delighted to find it still fresh, she takes a long, slow swig of the milk. She puts it back and finds a carton of eggs and some fresh greens, and when she comes across the package of bacon, she is suddenly struck by an idea.
"Before we do that though, would you want an omelette and some bacon?" She offers to cook. It would be selfish of her just to cook for herself and she does kind of owe James for looking after her as a cat and her clothing. Plus, they could both use the protein and nourishment such a breakfast would provide.
