James knew that Moira wasn't especially close with her family or siblings, but he didn't realize she'd been estranged for ten years. That was a long time. He guesses that spoke to her readiness to draw his attention to her mother's true nature if she left so long ago, rather being alone than stuck. Maybe he's always been too focused on what he's lost to notice.
He shakes his head, chuckling in amusement. "She doesn't, but I'm sure she would if she thought it would annoy me," he admits.
