James is relieved when Davin tells him there is a video of the incident. Not that he doesn't think his influence at the station would go a long way but with a video there will be less wiggle room for those guys to come back and say Davin used his magic more than just to scare them off.
"Yes, the video will help," he says, surprised when Davin leans over and rests his hand against James' shoulder. For a second, he stiffens awkwardly trying to decide what to do. Eventually he relaxes and holds his arm around Davin's shoulders, almost like a hug. "It's okay. You alive that's what matters. And you're not going to be in trouble as long as you tell the truth about what happened."
