"I'm sorry---" James looks down. He has this really bad habit of putting his foot in his mouth around Davin, and he isn't sure why. He should know his own training. How to deal with trauma victims, which is what Davin is. No matter how much James wants to just fix it and make it better. It's how he is, and when he can't he gets frustrated. "I'm sorry. I really did just come to see if you were okay," he says, leaving out that part where he had come over as soon as he heard and figured out the victim was Davin.
