"Well, I'm glad ya had fun," Davin says with a soft smile. He swallows and looks down at the menu, trying to calm himself and let the heat from his cheeks dissipate. James is so calm and collected and Davin is usually similar, but something about James makes him flustered. "If ya ever want t'dance again, ya know where t'find me."
The waiter arrives and Davin orders an agnolotti with confidence, smiling as he hands the menu back to the waiter. He's never actually been to Francesco's before, but he's watched a lot of Food Network. He's not the best chef, but his thirst for knowledge and curiosity led him to attempting a few different types of cuisine.
"That's okay. You have my number," Davin assures him. "I hope everythin' with your dad goes okay. He sounds intense."
