When Davin returns, holding the wine glasses, blushing hotly over the gesture, James lets a fond smile form on his face. He had been afraid that Davin might be expecting something better than just dinner, so James is happy that Davin appears to like the simplistic nature of dinner at home, just the two of them. He grew up going to enough fancy balls and galas and dinner parties, that he really prefers relaxed and comfortable. At his father's party, they didn't get to do that either.

He settles his hands along Davin's waist as he comes right up to him, holding their bodies close. "It's Valentine's, and I owed you a good dinner for coming with me the other night," he says, leaning down to kiss him on the mouth.
