Davin stumbles a little when James suddenly stops, and he turns around slowly to look up at him with big, wide eyes. He's obviously upsetting the prince but he has no idea what he's doing wrong. He's just trying to help.
"Somethin' must have happened," Davin says after a moment. "Your memories don't seem t'be intact."
It's all very curious and Davin tilts his head a little, brow furrowed. Nothing about his is making any sense, right down to how James seems to sure that he knows Davin well. They only met the one time, and sure, they had a lovely dance, but the prince dances with lots of people, he's sure. "Look, why don't ya tell me who ya think ya are? We'll get this all figured out, okay? I promise I'll help."
