"Oh. Right. Because you think I'm a...prince. Right," James says with a small nod. At that, he takes a moment to look over Davin's state of dress and his appearance. He supposes commoner doesn't exactly mean well-fed, and he can tell Davin has missed his fair share of meals. With a sigh, he nods again. "Of course. Davin, you can have anything you'd like." Even though he's never seen this palace or the people there, once they arrive he's going to stuff Davin full of food.
They continue walking for a bit, and James makes sure to pay close attention to the trail they take, trying to get his feel for the lay of the land. "Did you never see me in town?" he asks wondering just how strict the rules are around here. "We never spoke at all?"
