"Of course I saved ya. What else am I gonna do?" Davin asks, letting out a
wet chuckle as James cups his cheek. His heart stutters at the words and
Davin's expression goes a bit more serious. He wants to believe it so, so
badly. But-- "Ya don't have t'say it 'cause I saved your life, James."
He swallows hard and turns to press a kiss to James' palm, shutting his
eyes tight as they well up with a fresh set of tears.
