Taking in a deep breath, James concentrates on the reassurance in Davin's tone, on the fact that now they are here together. Perhaps nothing terrible can happen to them now. They split up, and they made their way back together. All that's left to do is take care of each other.

He closes his eyes when Davin kisses him, remembering the feeling, and then he sighs glancing up at him touching his face too. "We will," he says. "Help each other. Through this and whatever else happens. You don't always get a second chance, but I plan to make the most of mine."
