James huffs out a chuckle when Davin throws his arms around him in a hug, cheerily kissing him, and it's as close to the perfect reaction he's been visualizing these few weeks as it can get. There were other scenarios he pictured too like Davin telling him it was too soon or too much. But this, no this is perfect. He wants to start packing up all of Davin's things right now so they don't have to waste another moment.

"There's plenty of space to make yours, and if there isn't we can find a new space," he says, touching the hair along his neck. He is serious. If his cottage doesn't work they can find somewhere else. "All that matters is you're here. With me."
